-Preserved almost 7,000 acres of land through the PDR program buying down the equivalent of 375 school seats that would cost $10,000 or more for each seat every year

-Funded and implemented a new communications system for the county

-Approved the construction of four (4) schools (Brumfield Elem., Auburn Middle, Kettle Run HS, Greenville Elem., and funding the purchase of land for Elem. #12

-We have doubled the School budget since I have been on the Board of Supervisors

-Improved the ability for commercial growth by starting a streamlined approval process using the Development Assistance Review Team (DART)

-Supported open and green space to improve the visual impact of development

-Improved Youth Sports programs through funding and field development

-Helped foster and fund Boys and Girls Club Activities

-Retained a 3% or less growth during a time of unprecedented development

-Maintained my responsiveness and accountability to you

-We have approved significant levels of tax deferments for the elderly who qualify

-Have met with thousands people to resolve issues and have been successful

-We have been successful in acquiring legislature for impact fees for transportation needs

-We have finally gotten cost of competing funding from the state to help teachers

-Protected family farms

-Lobbied for more local control of our land use policies

-Improved our relationship with VDOT

-Opened communications with other governments on all of our borders

-Helped with emergency preparedness both locally and regionally

-Supported increases in public safety with Fire and Rescue and Sheriff
