- Married for 42 years to my wife, Martha, a retired Fauquier County employee. My daughter Meg is a local horse trainer in the county

- A successful business man, I own and operate Deer Meadow Farm
- Active in the community, Member of the CCC Ruritans, Rotary Club of Warrenton, member of Grace Episcopal Church
- A fiscal conservative
- Over 27 years experience working in County Gov’t, budgeting, grant development and implementation, as well as personnel operations
- Taught at the High School and Community College level
- Served as your elected Cedar Run Supervisor for 7 ½ years ( 4 as Chairman & 2 as Vice-Chair) since retiring from county government.
